For this project, we are asked to pick an collection is an art museum, and build an addition to the museum to house that specific collection. I picked MoMA PS1 as my site, for its layers of history. The collection “Greater New York - Superposition of Time” that I curated establishes a long lost connection between MoMA PS1 and MoMA, also between contemporary Avant Garde artists and those in 1970s, when MoMA PS1 was established.

The agenda of the studio is “meaningful distribution of colors in architecture”. I analyzed Rothko’s painting “No.10” and extracted color theories to apply in my own design.
